The South Solitary Island Open Weekend on the 16th and 17th of August were a fabulous success!

226 lucky people flew out to the island over the two days.

They all enjoyed an interpretive guided tour with NPWS Rangers, had a look through the lighthouse and heard stories from residents who had previously lived there.

Special thanks to NPWS, AMSA for opening the lighthouse, and Anthony Cougle of North Sapphire Beach Estate for the use of his vacant land.
